Methanol and ammonia – high-potential, emerging clean fuels.
On June 3rd, Mr. Stephen Harrison, Founder and Managing Director of sbh4, joined MaritimeMET Webinar edition, as a guest speaker.
Stephen B. Harrison is the founder and managing director at sbh4 GmbH in Germany. His work focuses on decarbonisation and GHG emissions reduction. E-fuels, hydrogen, ammonia and CCTUS are fundamental pillars of his consulting practice.
Stephen has extensive M&A and investment due diligence advisory experience in the energy and clean-tech sectors. Sectors where Stephen has supported in this area are catalysts for low-carbon fuels and chemicals, DAC, CO2 capture and mineralisation, and clean hydrogen production. With a background in industrial and specialty gases, including 27 years at BOC Gases, The BOC Group and Linde Gas, Stephen has intimate knowledge of e-fuels, hydrogen, ammonia and carbon dioxide from commercial, technical and operational perspectives.
It was a pleasure to welcome over 60 people joining to hear Stephens talk about methanol and ammonia as high-potential, emerging clean fuels. Stephen highlighted the key metrological implications of the methanol and ammonia value chains and end-use cases as fuels for maritime propulsion and thermal power generation.
