MaritimeMET
Metrology for green maritime shipping
Emission control through traceable measurements and machine learning approaches.

The project (23IND09 MaritimeMET) has received funding from the European Partnership on Metrology, co-financed from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and by the Participating States

EMN Energy Gases Annual General Meeting and Stakeholder Workshop

MaritimeMET Project Engages with EMN Energy Gases to ensure uptake of new measurement infrastructures by industry and standardization bodies.

From March 25–27, the EMN for Energy Gases, part of EURAMET, the European Association of National Metrology Institutes, held its Annual General Meeting followed by Stakeholders Workshop at VSL, the Dutch National Metrology Institute.

MaritimeMET project was introduced to the EMN Energy Gases community during the General Meeting by project coordinator and the project dedicated poster was presented during the two day workshop, offering insight into MaritimeMET objectives and approaches to traceable emissions monitoring and machine learning for greener maritime shipping.

Collaboration with EMN Energy Gases is very significant for the project impact pathway. The EMN network supports the transition to renewable gaseous fuels by providing measurement science expertise to industry and society. By connecting end-user communities and centralizing measurement science efforts, the EMN for Energy Gases facilitates the development of a diverse and secure energy network.
