REGISTRATION LINK FOR ON-SITE AND REMOTE ATTENDING: Registration for MaritimeMET Workshop
MaritimeMET will meet at the Wärtsilä Sustainable Technology Hub in Vaasa (Finland) next April 15-16 to hold its Mid-Term Meeting and Project Workshop, with a chance for those who will not make it to Vaasa to attend online. This is a key point in the project, as these days will be spent reviewing the progress made in the first half of the project and the challenges facing the second half.
On the first day, partners will have closed meetings to review the progress on the three technical work packages of the project: traceable emission measurements (WP1), dynamic measurements of in-cylinder pressure and temperature (WP2), and machine learning for performance optimisation and developing virtual sensor concepts (WP3).
On the second day, the consortium will organise the MaritimeMET Workshop. The workshop will serve as a meeting point for interested stakeholders to learn about the current status of the project at its halfway point and the challenges facing MaritimeMET in its second half.
The workshop will feature presentations related to three technical work packages of the project. In addition, for each of these blocks, there will be an invited speaker who will offer expertise on the topic to be discussed. This workshop is a great opportunity for interested stakeholders to learn first-hand about MaritimeMET’s main actions and the results we expect to support the maritime sector’s transition to cleaner fuels, developing more sustainable technologies through the traceable, high-quality measurements and reliable methods.
